Mackintosh of Inverness, on site adjacent to Gas Works and
Shambles.

First auction sale in new mart built by D. Mackintosh and
advertised in the Ross-shire Journal dates July 17, 1884.

worked for him for the past three years, no longer represents.

Announcement by P. W. McCallum that he and his brother, Mr G.
McCallum, have leased land known as Drynie Park at rear of
Commercial Hotel for the purpose of conducting weekly sales.

First weekly sale of livestock in McCallum's Auction Mart.
