:: Highland Livestock Heritage Society ::

The Society, which is based at the mart, was established in 2004 to commemorate the achievements of the Scottish livestock breeders and drovers.

These people made such a great contribution to the development of the livestock industry here in Scotland and throughout the world.

Our plans are to create an exhibition and archive telling the story of livestock breeding and droving in the Highland and further afield.
 

We further plan to raise funds for a large sculpture of a Highland bull and Drover to be sited at the mart.

We are looking for documents and photographs which may be relevant to this project which we would copy and return to you.
